Winning Her First Race and Paying It Forward: Jordan Rand Is Making Motorcycle Racing More Accessible for Women

Earlier this year, Women of GO!!!, ReBel Riders, and ASMA/Pirelli came together around a simple goal: get more women on the starting grid.

For our inaugural Women of GO!!! event at Podium Club, we sponsored female riders who wanted to try motorcycle road racing for the first time with a free track day, race license, and entry fees. One of those women was Jordan Rand.

Jordan is a model, motorcyclist, racer, and advocate for women in motorsports. She flew in from New York to take the opportunity to enter her first race, and Reparto Veloce set her up with an Aprilia RS 660 that she piloted to victory.

Now, Jordan is taking that experience and paying it forward.

New Racer Sponsorship for Women

For Round 4 of the California Roadrace Association at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, Jordan is sponsoring the New Racer School, Track Day, CRA License, and Race Fees for new female racers. The support gives women the chance to take their first steps into motorcycle racing without the financial barriers that can make getting to the starting grid so difficult.

The Ladies of CRA weekend isn't just for women who are brand new to racing, either. CRA is also giving all existing female racers 50% off their race entry fees for Round 4. To claim the discount, racers can email info@race-cra.com or contact Jordan directly to receive the special promotional code before registering.

New Rider School for Women

For women who have been curious about trying a track day but haven't made the jump yet, Jordan is also hosting women-only New Rider School sessions in collaboration with Compact Octane. These sessions are designed specifically for women who want to experience riding on a racetrack in a supportive, no-pressure environment alongside other women who are there to learn.

The sessions will give riders an introduction to the fundamentals of track riding while helping them get comfortable with the motorcycle, the circuit, and the track-day environment. With dedicated instruction and hands-on guidance, riders can ask questions, learn at their own pace, and experience what it's like to take a motorcycle onto a racetrack without feeling like they are expected to already know the ropes.

Getting into motorcycle racing can be intimidating. There is a lot to figure out, from licensing and race school to equipment, track time, race fees, and everything that comes with lining up on a starting grid for the first time. Sometimes, having the right support is what makes taking that first step possible.

That is what Women of GO!!! is about. We are a nonprofit focused on creating opportunities for women in motorsports. When we sponsored new female racers earlier this year, we simply wanted to give women who were curious about racing the chance to experience it for themselves. We had no idea where it would lead.

Jordan, thank you for taking what started with Women of GO!!! and paying it forward. Thank you for putting your own time, energy, and resources behind creating opportunities for other women to race. We couldn't be more excited to watch you continue to grow as a racer and to see how many more women you help get onto the grid along the way.
